THE SANCTUARY

We believe that homelessness is solve-able.

Yet, this is not your average program to help the unhoused community.

Our society is not currently set up to help humans when they are in need and have no where else to turn.

The Sanctuary is a safe place for humans, from any walk of life, to get the assistance they need.

COMING SOON

~ Our goal is to work in our community to dig up the root of homelessness and begin to break the cycle for the humans that are currently un-housed.

The Goal:

~ We meet the person where they are at and come up with an extensive care plan that is specific to the needs of the individual.

~ We create from a wholistic view.

~ We believe that it is our society that continues to allow these problems to circulate and it is going to take the community coming together in order to help solve them and create a sustainable solution for our future.

~ To be a safe place humans can feel comfortable asking for help out of the unsafe situation they may be in.

People With Signs:

This concept first came to me when I was babysitting an eight year old who is wiser beyond her years. She asked what the mans sign said that was on the street corner.

He was asking for grocery money. She had just made trail mix at her Girl Scouts Club and asked me to hand it to him.

He took it with a smile and a thank you.

This interaction forced me to look at how I see humans who stand on the street with a sign.

Not all of them are unhoused and are needed that level of assistance.

It made me realize that our world that we live in lets humans who are desperate for help stand out on the streets and ask anyone with kindness to help aid them in making their life better.

Here in the United States of America, we set the precedent for a lot of the World's standards of living.

This is unacceptable and it is time to change this norm to reflect loving on another.
