What is a social movement?
A social movement is collective action taken by a group of people to tackle social problems.
We are a collective that aims to create a better standard direction of living for the future through our actions NOW!
Every action we take is based out of a place of love.
HEART-CENTERED EVOLUTION
Heart-Centered Evolution (HCE) is a weekly challenge that is sent out through our email list and posted on our social media @abetterstandarddirection. These weekly challenges are meant to be an accessible way to connect with yourself, others, or your community. We challenge those in this movement to begin to take steps towards living their life in A Better Standard Direction. This means taking small action that can build on itself over time.
Each week, the HCE is sent out with an intention placed behind it. We want everything that this movement stands behind to put more love into the world. This love could be for ourselves, for the people in our lives, or for the community around us.

Why Heart-Centered Evolution?
We believe when we tune into our hearts first, the action that we take comes from a place of love. Love is a powerful and potent energy. Its warmth is contagious and draws in others to want to have that love in their life too.
As humans, when we evolve from a heart-centered focus, we are able to connect deeper with our own selves.
